How quickly can you deliver a forklift?
If needed, we can often deliver same day across the Sydney metro area. If you need a machine urgently, call us on 1300 499 678 and we’ll do everything we can to fast-track it.
How long can I hire a forklift for?
We offer flexible hire terms from as little as a week through to 12 months and beyond. You can adjust your hire period as your needs change.
What's included in the hire price?
Every hire includes a fully serviced and maintained machine for the duration of your hire, including all ongoing maintenance. Delivery fees may vary depending on your location.
What happens if the forklift breaks down?
Every machine is inspected and serviced before delivery, so issues are rare. When they do happen, an in-house, Hyworth-trained technician will respond quickly. On the rare occasions an issue can’t be repaired promptly, a replacement machine will be organised.
Do I need a licence to operate a hired forklift?
It depends on the machine. Walkie stackers and electric pallet jacks can be operated without a High Risk Work Licence. Larger equipment like counterbalance forklifts requires a valid HRWL. We’ll advise you on the requirements when we recommend a machine, and we provide a full safety induction on delivery.
What information do you need to get started?
Just the basics. Your contact details, the type of work you need the forklift for, and any site constraints like aisle widths or load weights. If you’re not sure what machine you need, our warehouse specialists will help you work it out.
Can I extend my hire if I need the forklift for longer?
Yes. Just let us know before your hire period ends and we’ll extend it. There’s no penalty for extending, and if your needs change we can swap you to a different machine.
