Down Under Box are an online business specialising in the creation of Australian-confectionary gift boxes, which are distributed worldwide. Delivering a little taste of home to Australians abroad, Down Under Box has been connecting families with their loved ones since 2015.

The challenge

Down Under Box had recently outgrown their current space and were in the midst of relocating to a larger warehouse. They required a forklift that would allow their team to shift large amounts of inventory, in order to keep up with the increased demand.

Having organised the installation of new pallet racking with Activ Storage, Down Under Box were eager to get their business back up and running as quickly as possible.

Down Under Box's requirements

Hyworth’s existing relationship with Activ Storage meant they could confidently recommend our services to Down Under Box. Familiar with our rapid response times and reputation for showing genuine interest in all enquiries, Activ Storage owner, Tony, had no hesitation sharing our details.

We were provided with an explanation of Down Under Box’s requirements, revealing that the new racking installation would enable their team to store products up to 5000m high.

Our mutual partnership also meant that Activ Storage and Down Under Box was familiar with our stock and knew we could provide machinery that perfectly matched the new racking.

Our approach

Within three weeks of initial contact being made, Down Under Box had received their Hyworth Walkie Reach, and their new warehouse was up and running.

Now able to handle larger inventory volumes, Down Under Box can now focus on expanding its business. It’s safe to say that their new forklift has made the transition to their new warehouse both productive and worthwhile.
